STACEY B. HAMMER, Founder
After spending several years working in government and private practice, and observing attorneys overwhelmed by their workload, Ms. Hammer established BriefHelp.com to help alleviate this problem.

Ms. Hammer's experience in legal research and writing stems from her previous positions with a New York Supreme Court Judge, the New York Department of Consumer Affairs, the New York State Attorney General's Office, the Law Offices of Frederick J. Brynn, PC (handling personal injury, employment law, and civil rights cases), and most recently, as an associate with the Washington, D.C. law firm of Goldstein Loots, P.C. (handling franchise, business, and employment law cases).

Ms. Hammer is an honors graduate of Brandeis University and received her juris doctor degree from New York Law School. She also served as Chairperson of the New York Law School Moot Court Association, during which time she headed an entirely student-run appellate advocacy team and participated in several intermural moot court competitions. She was a semi-finalist in the John Marshall Information Technology and Privacy Competition, and participated in the Brooklyn Law School's Prince Evidence Competition, from which she received an Award for the Second Best Brief. For her distinctions in appellate advocacy and brief writing, she was inducted to the Order of Barristers, a national honors society that recognize students who have demonstrated superior abilities in the preparation and presentation of written and oral argument.

Ms. Hammer is currently admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
